GLOBAL TRAINING is a Basque Govt. (Dept. of Economic Development and Infraestructures) funded trainee scholarship programme for approximately 400 Basque University and high level VET graduates each year. It aims to promote transnational mobility and help graduates gain experience in professional projects and activities related to their studies in selected international companies and organizations.
The scholarships are managed by a series of experienced and vetted Basque organizations and consortiums of which Politeknika Txorierri is one. Politeknika Txorierri has been managing the GLOBAL TRAINING scholarships for high level VET and university graduates since the inauguration of the programme in 2012. The Politeknika now successfully operates the programme in collaboration with HETEL, Confebask and Adegi for 60 graduates each year.
Characteristics
The GLOBAL TRAINING trainee scholarships last for 6 months and include full medical and public liability insurance as well as a training period before the traineeship abroad.
