School Starters´ Hub (European Contest)

First of all, all the modules were conducted successfully, and right after, a national contest was organized among the participant members (Bulgaria, Italy, Greece, and Spain). The aim of this project was to encourage students to work together as groups in order to create business ideas. During this national contest, the use of the Hub’s platform was exploited where students submitted their business ideas via the Canvas Business model. Furthermore, they experienced the pathway from the choice of their idea to the elaboration and presentation of their project according to principles of digital marketing, the realization of the project, and its evaluation and exploitation opportunities.

In the student’s national contest, they were asked about their opinion and also to provide quantitative and qualitative evaluations after having an open discussion concerning what are the learning outcomes they have acquired, how they assess dedicating time to such an activity, what are their suggestions for improvement, etc. 20 students per partner were engaged to participate and shared their feedback.

This contest concluded in a proper and proactive way and all the final results were uploaded to the website.

Moreover, after this workshop, a meeting with the members of the School Starters´ Hub was held at Politeknika Txorierri in Bilbao, Spain. Every single partner took part in the meeting face-to-face except the Emphasys members that took place online. In this meeting, the final actions that needed to be carried out were decided.

Furthermore, after the meeting, the multiplayer event was celebrated. On September 29th, 2022 the contest was held at Politeknika Txorierri (Derio- Sapin) The two groups that remained finalists explained their business ideas to obtain the prize. One was from Spain (Politeknika Txorierri) and the other one was from Greece (Platon School). All the guests (49 people) from The Netherlands, Denmark, and Germany voted and as result, Politeknika Txorierri´s members won, bestowing them a 300 euros price reward.

This project is almost coming to an end. However, thanks to the project the members as well as the participating students take away great wisdom which they obtained in during the development of the project.
